Established in 2008, the Jensen Memorial Youth Ranch (JMYR) is a 501 C 3 non-profit organization devoted to mentoring and encouraging youth in 4H and FFA activities. The JMYR was originated by brother's Carl and Craig Grub as a tribute to their childhood friends, John and Dana Jensen who lost their lives in Viet Nam.
The JMYR is expanding with the development of a shooting facility and education center in the Medical Lake area that will perpetuate the Jensen family legacy of mentoring youth by providing education in hunting and responsible gun ownership to junior members. The JMYR is committed to becoming a premiere and nationally recognized shooting facility for the Inland Northwest and Region. This ambitious plan includes diverse shooting disciplines to include: a small arms firing range, rifle range, skeet and trap range, area for "three gun", other related shooting competitions and archery.
